John D.

John Dionisio, born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. This Canadian born metal drummer, raised in Eagle Rock, California started his early career in several heavy metal bands including trying out for the band Lizzie Borden earlier in his career before joining forces with Alice's Garden, an Orange County metal band. After leaving Alice's Garden, John answered an ad in the Recycler.com site and gave Armando a call and after several auditions was asked to join Paradox in February 2005. John also has attended East Los Angeles College where he participated in both the jazz and concert bands while majoring in music there. John loves jazz music but his main love has always been playing rock and metal. John has always had an appreciation for old school rock drummers especially the likes of John Bonham of Led Zeppelin, Ian Paice of Deep Purple, Joey Kramer of Aerosmith, and Tommy Lee of Motley Crue. John's style is a hard driving style of play and likes to keep it straight and simple. John is also an avid ice hockey player and plays goalie in several recreational leagues in the Inland Empire. He is a student at Devry University in Pomona studying for a bachelor's degree in marketing.
